All their fillers,in make good range have failed,blowing off of painted surfaces,when they are spec no prep, spoke to their tech team.

They know it's not manageable though. It'll be an enormous amount of man power just to go back over 3 previous years and get an average for 5 million people. To then be taking off earning aswell they must know isn't feasible. Yep there'll be some well off pieces of s**t.

Hope you're right though as I haven't earnt a penny in 3 weeks and probably won't do until Mid May

Apparently police stopped hundreds of shoppers at a B&Q click&collect as there items were non essential, I can only guess wickes have followed on to this now and themselves are only doing essential items

Same as that mate haven’t had anything also have said no to going to site and turned down works in people’s homes. Just want to protect my family and all the time I think I’m getting 80% I’m happy to be indoors being safe and helping the NHS

Hope you are all well during this difficult time?

Just to let you know, P1 is still operating, however we do have a collection policy in place, meaning you have to call up and book in a collection slot.

Deliveries for materials and online orders are happening as normal.

Regarding BG products, they are currently closed until the 23rd, where I believe they are having a meeting to potentially re-open. As soon as I hear more, I will let you know.

As for competition, they now have it. We have been working with a brand called, Make Good over the last 2 years about a finish material, it has now been tested and developed over two years and we have some more material arriving today for testing purposes with local Plasterers. Make Good have other products in the market, their Hardwall have been received very well, their board adhesive not so well, however, they have made the relevant changes and listened to the market. One thing about Make Good is they are small enough to care, and will listen to your feedback - constructive feedback. Big things coming, watch this space

Their fillers haven't gone down that well in the market from the guys I have spoken to, I know they have been working on them a lot to improve this though.

With regards to other products, their Hardwall has been very popular - I have guys testing the skim today so will let you know

i was offered some plaster that was manufactured in Turkey to test. would this be make good plaster that is sold in Band Q ?. i did not bother to pick it up as i still have multi in stock.

British gypsum won’t open back up on the 23rd, the lockdown will be extended another 3 weeks this week, so nothing has changed for them.
How people are still out grafting, beggars belief, Putting your health and your families at risk, we’ve all got bills to pay but if your getting paid to stay at home from a self employed perspective.
