All their fillers,in make good range have failed, blowing off of painted surfaces, when they are spec no prep, spoke to their tech team. What products? What issues?
I've never heard of it but welcome some competition for sure.

Believe so yes unless you've seen any different on gov website. How would they ever enforce the rule. Rewarding the people putting lives at riskWhat so you can go to work , earn say £4K a month and then claim £2.5k a month ???
3rd Bullet pointCrazy I thought it was just for people whom had stopped work.. crazy that.
3rd Bullet point
So your need for plaster is more important than bg staff isolating themselves?
They know it's not manageable though. It'll be an enormous amount of man power just to go back over 3 previous years and get an average for 5 million people. To then be taking off earning aswell they must know isn't feasible. Yep there'll be some well off pieces of s**t.I’m sure they are gonna ask for what you’ve earned since they asked people to stop work, or loads of pieces of s**t will be taking the piss
There’s a whole range of “make good” products in b&q.What products? What issues?

Make do more like itMake good! s**t name tho
How can the police decide what is essential for someone, tossers.Apparently police stopped hundreds of shoppers at a B&Q click&collect as there items were non essential, I can only guess wickes have followed on to this now and themselves are only doing essential items
HMRC will get in touch, you do not need to do anything.Yes should do. I’m confused about that as well. Are we just waiting for them to get in touch with us about that? I was happy to work and not need to take anything but s**t just got real. I’m going to be spending the day cruising through gov sites it seems!

Hope you're right though as I haven't earnt a penny in 3 weeks and probably won't do until Mid May
Says it allThere’s a whole range of “make good” products in b&q.
They will have a computer that will do all the calculations. I’m still working because I can, and am looking forward to my ‘bonus’ in June. Are they based in Birmingham?Hi Guys,
Hope you are all well during this difficult time?
Just to let you know, P1 is still operating, however we do have a collection policy in place, meaning you have to call up and book in a collection slot.
Deliveries for materials and online orders are happening as normal.
Regarding BG products, they are currently closed until the 23rd, where I believe they are having a meeting to potentially re-open. As soon as I hear more, I will let you know.
As for competition, they now have it. We have been working with a brand called, Make Good over the last 2 years about a finish material, it has now been tested and developed over two years and we have some more material arriving today for testing purposes with local Plasterers. Make Good have other products in the market, their Hardwall have been received very well, their board adhesive not so well, however, they have made the relevant changes and listened to the market. One thing about Make Good is they are small enough to care, and will listen to your feedback - constructive feedback. Big things coming, watch this space
Press a button and it's all done hey? They will have a computer that will do all the calculations. I’m still working because I can, and am looking forward to my ‘bonus’ in June. I feel a new van coming on.

Well I hope you donate it to a charity as the longer you're working the longer everyone else is locked in
In fact I couldn't care what you do with the money, my conscience and many others on here will be clear. Imagine one of your family get it and die, how good will that few grand bonus seem then?
Great comparison about people on the dole. Spot onExactly mate , anyone going to work and will be claiming the money are vile humans imho
Same People that will do that and use this to their advantage are the same sort of people who moan about students and people on the dole being scrounges etc.
Real pieces of s**t, typical tories just caring about themselves and what they can get

Yes I did. How was life on the dole until they sanctioned you and made you get a job?People wanting to save lives = self righteous.
100% voted Tory
Never claimed a penny off the government other than the usual child benefit of 80 odd quidYes I did. How was life on the dole until they sanctioned you and made you get a job?

Their fillers haven't gone down that well in the market from the guys I have spoken to, I know they have been working on them a lot to improve this though.
With regards to other products, their Hardwall has been very popular - I have guys testing the skim today so will let you know
I agree on the name also ;-)
I couldn’t get anything on wickes onlineCan’t seem to add to a basket. Wondering if this is the reason. Is plaster a non essential item?
View attachment 47385
i was offered some plaster that was manufactured in Turkey to test. would this be make good plaster that is sold in Band Q ?. i did not bother to pick it up as i still have multi in stock.
Yep they tried to half arse it to keep economy moving still, all they've done is cripple it moreThe government should have come out and said essential works only like they did in Spain, there out of lockdown now after 4 weeks, we’re going to be doing 6-7 weeks minimum.
We all have our own reasons to be at work or not.British gypsum won’t open back up on the 23rd, the lockdown will be extended another 3 weeks this week, so nothing has changed for them.
How people are still out grafting, beggars belief, Putting your health and your families at risk, we’ve all got bills to pay but if your getting paid to stay at home from a self employed perspective.
