Crikey guys. That ruddy well escalated quickly. I hope you've both blooming calmed down today.
Flynnyman don't like unifinish and speedskims. Theplasterman does.

It's like saying I don't like drywall adhesive or browning lol I don't give a rats arse but it's not the holy grail :)
 
Innocent little thread turned into this, I'm disappointed guys, guys you have to hug it out. Guys, I'll get one of my loyal subby guy to tell you in a short video guys how other guys get over guys issues

@Danny why will s&c suck in??
If you have waterproofer in it and it's well mixed and plasticity it skims fine. Been skimming it for 30 yrs and never pva'd it

Yeh right on that point I don't do the internal rendering and I know guy who does uses waterproofer in the mix going back to using the dreaded Unifinsh if I'm chucking a load on it should hang and give Plenty of time:aburrido:

It's a good idea but not not a practical one that will work unless it was 50p a bag dearer, tbh the amount of s**t you hear that comes from some domestic plasterers about how little they do to earn money and how site spreads are killing themselves for a grand a week maybe bg did listen and designed a product for lazy fools

So, is Uni-Finish any good or not?

Now I saw someone mentioned d&d and cold spots..... :). Flynny, how did they go around the problem on that job? And what do you think is the best way to d&d on bare concrete wall/column? Ta
 
What's a polymer additive?
Was never told the full group of additives but polymer if I am correct was one of them that makes it stick to the surfaces it's in a lot of other plaster products as well..bg did a q & a session last year and said what it was or does if I remember rightly
I am not to clued up on the whole lot of the make up but also think knauff have it in the airless after reading there posts the other day
 
Thats why i use years of experience a keen eye and the removal of the light bulbs on exiting the job:whistle:.
