    Different setup

That's a ball ache of a setup when you can just use a mixing pump.

R pump yes. I've used D8 1.5 for years which is the fastest d pump available. I can assure you you weren't doing five bags a minute on the mamba.

    Any one got this gun

You also need to use a taper valve, ball valves won't last.

    Any one got this gun

I turn the air off to stop machine and run the excess pressure out on the wall for a couple of seconds, shut the material valve off, then a quick split second blast of air to clear any material that's sat in front of the airline. No need for a bucket or the file that way.

House been rendered in Weber - advice wanted

Lol, I think she does Zombie, she can show them what she expects it to be, and ask why hers doesn't look the same. It's frustrating to see as it's 10miles up the road from us.

    Plastic trowels!!!!!

So how do they differ in use? I stand by the finish they leave is the same.
  15. W

    Plastic trowels!!!!!

Well I use them both and they both achieve the same outcome. Are you aware that SS is the same carbon steel with chromium added, which prevents it rusting when it's surface is highly polished? Tell me, genuinely, how do you find they differ in use?

Not for me, as I said pro rata.

whats your scratch render of choice?

The price was reduced pro rata when parexal went to 25kg last Summer and then again with monoblanco at Christmas.

    Prebagged for internal through machine

Definitely. For float and set you can't beat hardwall imo. It's the most cost effective option. A lightweight material is I better solution than heavy render, especially over lightweight block. You can skim same day, completing areas as you go.

    Haha, for you maybe.
  30. W

    Ritmo plus and turbo

I dunno, more powerful motor on the the L, speed actually slightly slower than the M which is a little known fact. The L states a pumping distance of 20metre, 15 for the M, although I have pumped upto 25metres with an M and at height. So yea, for my money out the two the M's the winner, smaller...

Good example of sun on render

I didn't mention multi million pound mega structures, nor am I refering to them, I was highlighting this to the people that claimed it impossible to get render to look good when the sun is shining across at an acute angle. Put simply you can. You can compare because the process is similar, like...

Good example of sun on render

It can be perfect if the efforts put in and you genuinely understand how to achieve it.. Example. They build huge superstructures for yachts, big sheets of ali that are welded together, distorted and need completely skimming out with filler, lads working off multiple lifts of scaffold skimming...

    Painting webber through colour render

Webers Chalk is white, a through colour render is just that, a pigmented sand and cement finish, it's never going to be as stark a wight as a synthetic finish such as paint.
