Cheers Danny but I'm too busy to get away. Shame I would have been interested.
Pity, I'd like something more local . Interested otherwise

Sad, but true..I’ve tried this airless and when it takes off the rates will plummet as it’s so easy, everyone will be doing it. Take on someone to do it for you and in less than a month he’ll have his own machine and will be undercutting you on jobs.

Thats more exspensive than most firms suppy and fixSeen a firm charging £6.50+vat all in with a minimum metrage so there is a start I wonder how low it will go?
That is supply and fix, saw it the other day on a website and pretty sure that was only on to new board and 2.4.Thats more exspensive than most firms suppy and fix
I suppose how people react to those prices will depend largely on what they get for skimming. The chap that helps me out with it usually gets about £3.50- £3.75 a metre, labour only from contractors. On the high end properties I do, I’m looking for a minimum of £6 labour only.

That's what I thought 30 years agoI think it is a case if get in and make your money and get out... nothing lasts forever....
Depends what the lads are prepared to work for, going back to when I was on site in manchester I can believe it.I know most big firms dont charge that for skim
Thats paying 3.60 to 3.80 m2 aswellDepends what the lads are prepared to work for, going back to when I was on site in manchester I can believe it.
Hell of a lot more than a lot of firms are paying.Thats paying 3.60 to 3.80 m2 aswell
There is always someone who will work for nothing but the price of new builds doesn’t drop, funny that. That’s why site work for me is something I last did in the nineties. As for polymer coatings etc, everything has its day it will disappear in a decade or so like tyrolean and artexDepends what the lads are prepared to work for, going back to when I was on site in manchester I can believe it.
Give us a jobWe were on £4.75 m2 at the Emirates skimming maybe in 2004 I think...
