never seen pva on new block work
I've worked for most established plastering firms in the uk who employ hundreds of lads everyday.

used grit on old brick then dabbed onto.

I got home from sorting van yesterday and Si was hungover to f**k on sofa , clearly been beer farting all day! I opened the back doors and he moaned he was cold...... mystery solved! :tanguero:

there must be at least 1000 lads a day dabbing onto block work mate in the uk.
if there in 5 days that's 5000 days of dabbing ....
if they dab 4 walls each at least.
that's 20 thousand walls a week

I’ve seen boards pop off loads of times on site due to just sticking straight onto dusty dry as a bone block work mate! (y)
