Nathan, do you do Self Assessment? - Every year you have to nominate a bank account for any rebate to be sent to, and they put the messages up on the internal personalised self assessment message board. And yes, they really can hit one button to do it, and they send the annual late return reminders out the same way as e-mails.

It’s the law of the jungle tho, how can a footballer earn what they earn and a nurse /doc earn what they earn , it will never ever change , we don’t live in a utopia . All I concentrate on is giving my family the best I can, if there’s any over I’m glad to share it with the needy

You allow children to go to nursery for free more parents go to work and pay into the tax system, they have more disposable income and spend it in the community. You tax the big corporations and the top 5%. Basically all the information that's been widely available regarding socialism for decades

I think the tory goverment have done a great job sorting the finances out after the recession and allowed the economy to prosper.

I also think theve been spot on in there reaction to the virus so far.

As for the having a never ending stock of ppe sadly that's pipe dreams every single country media are on there own countrys goverment for not having enough.

And to add labour had lost the plot in the north with there working class years ago and the last election proved that.

So dont blame tory voters blame the non existent labour voters.

So I ask again would Labour of somehow managed to have some amazing stock pile of Ppe that no other country has got either?

The situation I'm sure is s**t in parts but be under no illusion that it would have been any different..get real?

I don’t know about wickes as of today. But b&q has it for trades at the trade counter if you go down. Click and collect online is not showing the stock correctly.

I’m yet to find out about wickes. I hate b&q as a general rule

We're going round in circles here. I'm saying the mistakes they've made, underfunding NHS for 10 years, acting to slowly even though we had months of notice. And you're saying well labour wouldn't have done any better. Labour have been saying every day since Tories got in fund the NHS properly, we're now seeing what happens if you don't. If you can't see that for yourself then there's no showing or telling you as you're to set in your ways or loving the Tories and hating Labour. Tories cut 50,000 front line staff from NHS - doctors and nurses. Would the NHS be in a better position with 50,000 more? Very simple question

I'm not for a second saying we'd be well prepared and everything would be fine. I'm saying we'd be better prepared, which is undeniable
 
It’s laughable isn’t it, look what labour did in the 90s with Pfi contracts in the nhs with money we couldn’t afford, and how we are still servicing the debt 20 years later.(from the nhs budget). As said I’m far from a Tory praiser, but labour shouldn’t throw stones in glass houses.
 
The nhs funding is infinite you could double the budget every year and it still wouldn’t be enough, it’s a Political stick to beat any current government with. Servicing pensions, ridulous salaries for middle management, Pfi payments, people living longer, cartels in prescriptions etc. It’s a busted flush and so far removed from what it was designed for in 1948.

Fair play you talk sense and make some good points there. The labour debt always gets thrown around as if they were complete morons with money though, they weren't, the debt is largely from the global financial crash.
It would be like labour supporters after this pandemic is over in a year or so going look what the Tories have done to the economy, look at the debt we're now in, they've crippled us
