If you rub in a circular motion like that with out an i section first on a big wall, your bound to get massive dishes that looks like satellite dishes when sun shines across it..
Same as sand and cement floating, i try to pull the float one way when floating S&c after it's all ruled..
No i totally agree mate, just wish i knew as much as you guys do with the machines...I share the same passion, just don't do much apart from skimming and the odd render...
I know a few spreads who charge that down here and regularly get them, job i looked at the other week had paid her spread £700 per average bedroom and room in the house, and he was to busy to do the last room, she was well chuffed when i said £500 all in and i got a tip lol...
I'm quit just hope i get this big job i've priced tomorrow, only seem to hae had one job a week for months but they been nice earners for only a couple of days....But talking about living on the edge.
Surely that's a ******* joke......The bloke needs is head seeing to offering rates like that, i wouldn't have the balls to phone lads and offer them rates like that.
Cheers paul...What a great reply!...I find it a lot easier mixing up in the tub when doing small areas and walls on my own...But sometimes struggle to get a decent mix or gauge the s&c cement...Will try this next time.

How do you mix it up in the grollia tub like that, do u gauge out the 4:1 with a shovel and just gradually add water to the mix?
